The podcast efficiency wheel

Email potential guests (1hr)

On Mondays, I dedicate an hour to reaching out to potential guests. By utilizing a template email, I save time and ensure a consistent approach. This initial step sets the foundation for scheduling interviews with engaging guests who align with my podcast's theme.

Schedule interviews (10 min)

To simplify the scheduling process, I rely on Calendly. This efficient tool allows guests to choose convenient time slots from my pre-determined availability. By automating this aspect, I eliminate back-and-forth emails and save valuable time for both parties involved.

Interview three guests per month (30 min/guest)

Using Riverside.fm, a reliable recording platform, I conduct high-quality remote interviews with my guests. With 30 minutes allocated for each guest, I ensure focused and engaging conversations while maintaining efficiency. The platform's seamless recording capabilities eliminate technical hurdles, providing a hassle-free experience.

Batch edit interviews (45 min)

To streamline the editing process, I employ Descript, a powerful audio editing tool. On Saturdays, I dedicate 45 minutes to batch-editing the recorded interviews. Descript's intuitive interface and automated features allow me to edit efficiently, saving time without compromising on quality.

Auto-schedule and post (40 min)

To further streamline my workflow, I leverage the automation features of Anchor.fm and YouTube Studio. With just 40 minutes of my time, I schedule the interviews to be released on both platforms, ensuring a consistent publishing schedule and maximizing my podcast's reach.

Maximize your efficiency, today. Don’t overthink it.
